Plus+ Accounting 2023 Charity Football Tournament

On Friday 27th October we took apart in the Plus Accountings charity football tournament at Dorothy Stringer School in Brighton.

It was a fantastic afternoon playing 5-a-side football tournaments with other local firms. This event, organised in aid of raising as much money as possible for the Brighton homeless charity, Clock Tower Sanctuary, was a great success. In total nearly £3k was raised!

This money will support them in continuing to provide practical facilities, access to activities and professional support to 16–25-year-olds who are homeless or insecurely housed.

Among the team was our very own talented players from the Jonathan Lea Network, including Jonathan Lea, Callum Ritchie and Liam Mulvee. The dream team also consisted of Nicholas Daley from Nicholas James Property and Hove FC players, Luke Canneaux and Daniel Cullen.

We are proud of our team for finishing top of our group by winning five and drawing one of our first six games. Unfortunately, we fell apart towards the end of our semi-final with eventual winners DMH Stallard LLP.

We will return next year and hopefully will win!!!
